Pregnancy
The path from pregnancy to motherhood is a journey full of changes, and it is our privilege to be your guide. Dr. Merrill and his staff are dedicated to meeting your needs, and exceeding your expectations. Our unhurried pace and attention to detail allow us to individualize the care and attention we provide, offering you an experience second to none at this most important time in your life.
When you've chosen our office for your prenatal care, we'll see you every four weeks until your 28th week, then at 31, 33 and 35 weeks gestation, and then weekly thereafter. Additional appointments may be scheduled as necessary.
We'll help you understand the normal changes a woman's body experiences in pregnancy so that some of the anxiety that can accompany a pregnancy may be relieved. As always, we encourage you to call us with any of your concerns.
As we take care of you during your pregnancy, we can make arrangements for prepayment of any co-insurance requirements, so that when you get home from the hospital with your new baby, you won't have any worries about bills. Click here to find billing, payment, and insurance information.

Appointments
Visits for an uncomplicated pregnancy are scheduled as follows; every four weeks until 28 weeks gestation, then at 31, 33, and 35 weeks, and then weekly thereafter. Additional appointments may be scheduled as needed. In the event that Dr. Merrill is called out of the office to deliver a baby or tend to an emergency when you are in for a visit, we ask for your patience and understanding. When this happens, you will be welcome to await his return, see Jo Ellen Zahn, our Family Nurse Practitioner if she is available, or reschedule for another time.
