Insurance:
We participate with many insurance plans, and we'll do our best to verify your insurance coverage and specific benefits, then file your claim directly to your insurance company. We'll make arrangements for prepayment of co-pays and co-insurance amounts during your prenatal course so you can go home from the hospital and just enjoy your newborn. We can also help determine your financial responsibility towards the hospital during your delivery, so that arrangements can be made to prepay those bills as well.
If our services are not covered by your health plan or we are unable to verify coverage, we will expect payment for office services at the time of service.
Billing & Payment:
The fee for a normal vaginal delivery without complications includes all routine pregnancy-related office visits, vaginal delivery, and your post-partum visit. The fee does not include any laboratory testing, ultrasound examinations, or non-stress testing. It also does not include additional office visits for other illnesses during pregnancy. These are additional services that are billed to your insurance company or charged separately.
If you require a Caesarean section, the surgeon and assistant surgeon have additional fees. You will also receive separate bills from the hospital, laboratory, and anesthesiologist; we have no control over these charges. Any questions about those bills should be directed to their billing departments.
